Today me and my classmate did some research about thing that we thought was interesting, so my buddy and I wrote about what planets are named after. So the first thing that my bubby wrote was Mercury and Mercury was named after Roman god of travel. Venus was the second one that we did and Venus was named after Roman goddess of beauty and every planet is named after a Roman god but there's is only one planet and its earth doesn't have a roman god.
S So the next one which is the forth one is Mars and Mars is named after Roman god of war and the next one is Jupiter which is the fifth one and that's named after Roman king of gods.
Next is Saturn and Saturn is the sixth one named after Roman god of agriculture and I never hear one of the gods on those planet. Then Uranus and Uranus is the seventh one and its named after Greek god of the sky. Lastly is Neptune and Neptune is the eighth planet and Neptune is named after Roman god of the sea. I wish that I could hear more about the Roman god of the planet.
