The turtle and the lion

                                             THE TURTLE AND THE LION RACING

Once upon a time there was a land that had the fastest animal which was the lion. The lion was brave, strong and scary to other people. One day when the lion came outside he screamed out”’I am the fastest out of this town and no one would beat me”. When he said that a little small turtle stood up and said “I will race you even if I lose”.Then the lion said “Oh please Don't race me because I'll beat you by miles. Then the turtle said “ let's see when we have a race. After that the lion accepted it and went to the race line.Then the caller said “3,2,1 go”. Off they went running around the  green long maze. After about 4 minutes the lion was in the lead and the turtle was not far away. When the lion was in the lead, he felt so tired that he went and jumped in the long green grass. Then he said to himself “The turtle wont come that fast, it would take forever to get here”. Little did he know that the turtle was almost next to his well he was sleeping. When the turtle got closer and closer, he quietly went past her without him noticing at all. When he went past him he felt happy because he was almost to the finish line. After that he was proud of himself about crossing the finish line when the crowd started to cheer for him and guess who woke up, it was the lion. He could not believe his eyes when  he saw the slow turtle about to finish the race. So he ran his fastest to touch the line, but suddenly it was too late. The turtle had passed the line before the lion did,So the lion went home crying and the slow turtle became unbeatable and the fastest out of the land.

A PROVERB:You should always think before you talk. 

Meaning: Think before you talk or else you might say something bad or rude.

The creepy old lady

                                                           THE CREEPY OLD LADY

 Once upon a time there were 3 girls named Lini, Rickal and Tuku who were walking on a streaky path. They were besties and always went to play out together every single day.  Later that day Rickal said “Look a black cat”.  The cat was so cute that it made us follow it to a black old haunted house. Then Rickal said “aaaa I think we should go back now.'' Then  Lini said “no lets explore this place. After that we all agreed to stay close to each other incase something happens but Rickal had a bad feeling about exploring this place. The first thing we did was go around in circles along the path just to see the door wide open. When we saw it we were shocked and scared.

Next we took one step up the stairs just to hear a door shut inside. We all got so scared that we jumped off the stairs in fright.  Then I took a deep breath and went to five.All of us  felt scared and terrified a As I was doing it, I told my friends to do it so they could stay calm. 

After we all felt ok then we got all our packbag and we got our phone and called our mums and dads and the phone never picked up and then all of us started to scream and then the door opened and  there was an old creepy lady standing right in front of us. My friends were shaking so hard that they ran away which they weren’t allowed to because if they did they would get haunted and get killed. 

Lini went out of the gate and then Rickal went outside just to see the lady right in front of her. The lady grabbed her and started to choke her until she died. Tuku started to cry about her best friend dying in front of her. She wanted to go and save her but I just held her and if she went the lady would do the same thing to her so I knew it was the best for her. She could not breathe and straight away died. I felt sad but I made the right choice to stay and be quiet.     

Then Tuku and Lini went back inside and  went into this old rusty room and we hid in the small cupboard full of skeletons. Lini told Tuku to be quiet because she was too loud when she was breathing. After that we heard footsteps coming upstairs, Tuku was scared so I told her to hold her breath until she went back outside. After that the lady opened the door and said “Come out , come out  wherever you are and then Tuku went out of the cupboard and then the lady said BOO! I FOUND YOU with a deep voice. Then the lady opened the cupboard and then Tuku got scared and the lady took Tuku from the old lady. Lini screamed but she was still staying quiet. Later then the lady  went outside acting like nothing happened and the lady was never seen again.  Lini was happy that she served but sad because her  friend died. When Lini went to her friend’s funeral she said her last goodbyes then  went home crying and wished Them  a safe place in heaven.
